SEO content writing services, edited the way a publisher edits a book
We've spent three decades turning rough drafts into pages people finish reading. Our SEO content writing services apply that same standard to your blog, your guides and the pages your customers find when they search. Every piece is briefed against what people actually type, written by someone who reads the subject, and edited by a second person before you see it.
Why people trust the house
- Publishing since 1996, with 30+ years of experience, as our own record states it
- An NDA signed before work starts
- A fixed fee quoted up front, never an hourly bill
- A writer and an editor who stay with your account, so the voice holds from the first post to the fortieth
- A real office, a real phone and a real address, listed at the bottom of this page
Search brings buyers to pages that were never written for them
Walk through almost any small business website and you'll find the same two things. A blog nobody reads, and service pages that explain what the company does without ever using the words a customer typed into the search box.
Anyone who has worked on the receiving end of a content calendar knows how this happens. Posts get written to a keyword and not to a reader. Ten articles end up answering the same question, so they compete with each other and none of them wins. Someone rewrites an old page without checking what Google is showing for it today, and the rewrite changes nothing. Or the copy is correct but clumsy, and the reader leaves by the third paragraph.
Good search content is not a trick. It's a page that answers the question the searcher really has, more clearly than the other pages on the results screen, written by a person who knows the subject and then edited by another. That's close to what Google's guidance on helpful, people-first content asks for, and it's the bar we hold every piece to.
There's a newer wrinkle. A language model can produce fifteen hundred words in under a minute. It can't tell you what's true about your trade, whether your competitor's page already says it better, or whether the claim in paragraph four will embarrass you in front of a customer who knows the field. Our writers read the subject first. The tools help with research; people do the writing.
Why most SEO content gets skimmed and forgotten
Most of it is written to be indexed, not read. The sentences are interchangeable, the examples are invented, and no one has ever read the draft aloud. Readers can tell within a few lines, and so can the people you want to hire you. If you'd like to see what we charge before you read further, our published rates are on one page.
The sentences are interchangeable, the examples are invented, and no one has ever read the draft aloud.
What our SEO content writing services include
This is the list most buyers want to compare across browser tabs, so here it is in the order the work actually runs.
Briefing against real search demand
Before anyone drafts a sentence, we look at what ranks for your phrase today, what the top pages cover, what they leave out, and what the searcher is likely to ask next. The brief names the angle, the reader, the questions the page must answer, the sources to use and the length. Think of it as an editor's letter to the writer. A weak brief produces a weak draft, and most revision rounds are really brief problems that surfaced late.
Keyword and topic plan
One main phrase per page. A map showing which page owns which phrase, so your posts stop competing with each other. And a sequence of topics built as a cluster around a core page rather than a pile of unrelated articles. You get this as a plain sheet you can keep and use whether or not we write another word for you.
Writing by someone who reads the subject
We match the writer to the subject where we can. You supply interviews, product notes or source material, and we build an original structure around it, not a template with the nouns swapped. Quotes and figures are checked and attributed. The page is written for people first, which is also the only version a search engine keeps rewarding.
Editing before it reaches you
Every piece gets a second reader. The first pass looks at structure and clarity. The copyedit follows a style sheet kept for your account: the document where a copyeditor records how your product name is written, whether you use the serial comma, how a founder's surname is spelled and whether it's "email" or "e-mail". Then a final proofread catches whatever the earlier passes moved.
On-page setup
Title tag and meta description, headings in a sensible order, internal links to your own pages, image alt text, a suggested URL slug, and schema where the page type calls for it. If the piece is a service page rather than a guide, the copy for that single page belongs with our web copywriting services, and we'll plan how it links to the content around it.
Publishing rhythm
We agree a cadence you can keep, whether that's weekly, every other week or monthly, and work from a rolling calendar so a finished piece is ready when it's due. A steady schedule you can sustain beats a burst of twelve posts followed by a silent quarter.
Why a publisher writes search content differently
We run web content the way a house runs a manuscript: brief, draft, edit, copyedit, proof. A lot of agencies skip the middle of that chain. They hand over a draft that has been read once, by the person who wrote it. That reader is the one least able to see what's wrong with it.
Here's what we do differently, and why it matters.
- The brief comes first. We write it before drafting, and we send it to you for approval so a misunderstanding costs a conversation and not a rewrite.
- A style sheet per client. Page 4 and page 40 spell your product the same way, because someone wrote the decision down.
- One writer and one editor on the account. A rotating pool of freelancers gives you twenty posts that sound like twenty different people. We keep a writer and an editor with the work from the first conversation to the final file.
- The read-aloud test. A page worth publishing survives being read out loud. If a sentence leaves the reader out of breath, it goes.
- We say no. If the phrase you want can't realistically be won by a site your size, or the page you ask for would duplicate one you already have, we'll tell you and propose a different plan.
What that means for you: the same voice every time, fewer rounds of revision, and copy that needs no cleanup before it goes live. It's the discipline behind how our editors work on books, applied to pages that have to earn their place on a screen.
Tell us about the project
Send a few details about seo content writing services and a person on our team will reply with a fixed quote. You'll know the price before any work begins.

How a project runs, from first call to published page
Send us your URL and the phrase or page you most want people to find. We read what you already have before we quote, and we'll say so plainly if the plan you're imagining needs a different starting point. You can talk through your project by form, phone or chat.
You receive the keyword and topic plan and a brief for each piece. You approve them before drafting begins. This is where an outline gets argued over, which is cheaper than arguing over a finished article.
The writer drafts from the brief. The editor then works through it, followed by the copyedit against your style sheet and the proofread. Nothing reaches you that only one person has read.
Your changes are folded in against the style sheet, so a correction you make once stays made in every later piece. How many revision rounds each piece includes is written into your quote.
You get finished copy with the title tag, meta description, headings and link suggestions in place, on the schedule we agreed. Once pages have had time to be crawled, we can look at how they're doing and tell you which ones deserve a rewrite. That's an offer to look, not a promise of a result.
We don't quote turnaround times in the abstract, because they depend on how long the pieces are, how much source material you can send, and how quickly approvals come back. Timing goes into the quote.
SEO content we write, and where each service stops
This page covers the program: the strategy and the ongoing production behind it. If what you need is one post, or a single page of website copy, another page on the site is the better fit, and we'd rather send you there than sell you a program you don't need.
Ongoing blog and guide programs live here. A single post, or a blog that needs only posts, is the work of our blog writing services.
The commercial pages, such as your home page, a service page or a landing page, are covered by our web copywriting services. Here we plan how those pages connect to the content around them. The copy for one page is written there.
Reported pieces, expert opinion and articles that carry a name go to our article writing services.
We don't place posts on other people's sites from this page. That's the work of our guest posting services.
Email issues are covered by newsletter writing, and catalogue copy by product descriptions. A long, researched paper that makes one argument to a skeptical reader is the work of our white paper writing services.

What SEO content writing costs
You shouldn't have to book a call to find out whether a provider is in your range. So here are the numbers.
Blog and SEO articles are $0.30 a word, with a $240 minimum, as listed in our published rates. The minimum is reached at 800 words, because $240 divided by $0.30 is 800. The fee is fixed and quoted before work starts. There's no hourly billing and no surprise invoice at the end.
These are arithmetic on the published rate, not quotes:
- A 1,500 word guide: 1,500 x $0.30 = $450
- A 2,000 word cornerstone page: 2,000 x $0.30 = $600
- Four 1,200 word posts in a month: 4 x 1,200 x $0.30 = $1,440
- A 600 word post: billed at the $240 minimum, not $180
What moves the price is length, how much source material you give us, and how technical the subject is. A founder who sends recorded interviews and a product sheet costs us less research time than a topic we have to build from nothing, and the quote reflects that.
Website copy starts from $420 a page, a landing page from $850, a newsletter from $380 an issue, and product descriptions from $45 each. Those are starting prices, and the final figure depends on the job. The full list is on the pricing page, and a free quote costs you nothing.
Who this is for
Authors and small publishers
You have a site and a blog, and you want readers to find your books or your services through search. We know how readers look for books: the category pages, the "how to" questions, the things they type before they buy.
Local and professional service businesses
A law practice, a clinic, a contractor. You have a few strong pages and no plan for the rest, and your competitors' blogs are older than yours.
Marketing managers and agencies
You need a dependable writer and editor pair without managing a pool of freelancers or chasing a late draft on a Friday.
Owners of old sites
You already have a hundred posts, and what they need is a proper rewrite and a clear map, not a hundred and first.
Who it isn't for: if you want a hundred posts a month at the lowest possible price, a content mill will fit you better. We'd rather say that now than disappoint you in month two.
What depends on your site, and what we can and can't control
Every provider in this field wants to sound certain. Here's where we think the line sits.
What's ours
The research, the plan, the brief, the quality of the writing and editing, the on-page setup, and the rhythm of delivery. We stand behind all of it.
What depends on your site
Its age and authority, how fast it loads, whether Google can crawl it, what your competitors publish, and whether the product or service on the other end of the page is actually good. Search results take months to settle, not days, and anyone selling you a guaranteed position is selling you something they don't control. We don't promise rankings or traffic.
What about AI?
Search engines now summarize answers at the top of the page. The pages worth citing are the clear, specific, trustworthy ones, and Google's own guidance centers on whether content helps the people reading it. In Google's position on AI-generated content, generative tools are called useful for researching a topic and adding structure, while pumping out many pages with no added value for users can break its spam policy. That's the line we draw too. Tools help us research. People write and edit.
What about cost?
Compare one in-house hire against a planner, a writer and an editor you pay by the word, only for the pieces you commission.
Who owns the work?
Ownership terms for the content you pay for go into the written quote, so you can read them before you agree to anything.
If your site can't win the phrase you've picked, we'll tell you after reading it, and suggest the phrases it can. Ask us about your site.
Send us the page you most want people to find
Tell us the phrase or the URL and we'll read it and quote a fixed fee.
Questions we get asked
How much should SEO services cost?
For the writing side of SEO, ours is $0.30 a word with a $240 minimum, which is 800 words, as a fixed fee quoted before work starts. A 1,500 word guide comes to $450. Full-service SEO from agencies is priced differently, usually with retainers, audits and link work. We cover the content, not technical SEO or link building.
Can ChatGPT write SEO content?
It can produce a draft. It can't check facts in your field, hold your voice across thirty posts, or tell you the page already exists on your site. Google's position on AI-generated content turns on whether pages help people, so a careless AI draft and a careless human draft fail the same way. Our people write and edit, and we're glad to show you a sample.
Is SEO dead now that AI summarizes everything?
No. Searching has changed, answers now appear in summaries, and simple questions send fewer clicks. But those summaries still draw on pages someone wrote, and clear, specific, trustworthy pages are the ones worth writing. Buying questions, the ones with a decision attached, still send people to sites.
What is an SEO content writer?
It's a writer who plans a page around what people type, answers the question better than the pages already showing, and sets up the title, headings and links so a search engine can read it. The good ones edit themselves hard. Ours also work with a separate editor, which is where most of the difference shows.
Is it worth paying for SEO services?
It depends on your site and your sales cycle. It's worth it when people already search for what you sell and your pages don't answer them. It's worth less for a brand with no search demand yet. We'll tell you which case you're in after we've read your site.
Can I do SEO on my own?
For a small site, yes. Google's SEO starter guide covers the basics for free. The time goes on research, writing at a steady pace and editing. Some clients do the plan themselves and hire us for the writing, and some do the reverse.
How long does SEO content take to show results?
New pages usually need weeks to be crawled and months to settle, and we don't guarantee a position or a number of days. What helps: an established site, good internal links and clear targeting of one phrase per page. What hurts: thin pages, duplicates and a slow site.
Who owns the content you write for us?
The terms for the content you pay for are set out in the written quote before work starts, so you can read them first. We sign an NDA before work begins. If ownership matters for your use, such as resale or white-label work, raise it when you ask for the quote.
What's the difference between SEO content writing and blog writing?
Blog writing is the post. The SEO content program is the plan, the briefs, the on-page setup and the rhythm that make a run of posts work together. If you need one article or a blog on its own, start with our blog writing services.
Do you write for my industry?
We match a writer who reads the subject wherever we can. For subjects that need a license, such as medical or legal advice, we'll say honestly what we can and can't write, and point you to the right team if the work is better done another way.
