What the books share

Both of our books follow retired detective David Dean in and around Ouray, Colorado. In Time Trial his investigation reaches back 100 years to the town's silver boom, and in San Juan Solution he and his family run a bed and breakfast where a guest is found dead. They are mysteries first, with a mountain town and its mining past as the setting. We have no more detail than the descriptions provide.
